Why am I writing, once again, about this event and this award? Partially because of the prestigious nature of the accolades heaped upon the Golan Heights Winery. But also to be able to share a video that I stumbled upon while doing a bit of research of a post in progress about Galil Mountain Winery which is a cousin of Golan Heights Winery. This video is of the presentation of the award at the “white tie” dinner in New York put on by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The moving video tells of the spirit of the winery and is a record of Victor Schoenfield’s well delivered acceptance speech.
